The immune system is a vast network of cells, tissues, and organs that coordinate our body’s defenses against hundreds of potentially fatal threats. Without it, we would be constantly exposed to billions of bacteria, viruses, and toxins. In this TED-Ed video, Emma Bryce takes a look at the different components of our immune system and how, together, they do their vital work.
